Stowmarket Concert Band

Saturday 8 June 2013: Opening of Cedars Park Community Centre 12pm, Stowmarket
The long awaited community centre opens this June and we've been invited to accompany the opening ceremony.

Friday 5 July 2013: Combs Fete 7.30pm, Fenn Farm, Combs
Now our third year at this event, we will be putting on a slightly different evening this year with an American-themed first half and a singalong second half.

Saturday 20 July 2013: Stowmarket Carnival Procession 12.30pm, Stowmarket
We'll be marching through the town again this year and what promises to be a fantasic procession....fingers crossed for some decent weather!

Saturday 3 August 2013: Bacton Fayre afternoon, Bacton
As usual, we will be supporting the Fayre by providing a programme of light music throughout the afternoon at the well attended event.

Saturday 14 December 2013: Christmas Concert 7pm, Stowmarket
A festive finale to the year - we will showcase some of the music we've played throughout the year as well as some Christmassy tunes to get you in the mood!

As well as the above, we also perform throughout the year at both the Monday Club and Target Clubs in Stowmarket providing free concerts to them at the Crown Street Resource Centre and this year we are also performing at the wedding of our conductor Mel Stammers!

Our training band have been invited back to the National School Band Association event after a fantastic workshop day and concert in June 2012 - the organisers are still confirming details but we hope that we can join them again this year.

We pride ourselves on being invited back to events and have already been invited to join the Festival of Remembrance again this November and also the Christmas Tree Festival Concert on Saturday 29th November 2014!!
